On 19th May, a rice-planting event was held in Ichijima-cho, Tamba City. This kind of event had been organized in the past few years, but this time call for participation from a wider range of people was made. Families from different cities joined the activity, and it was overwhelming to hear kids' voices of joy stepping into the paddy barefoot, in front of concrete-covered mountains (restoration works done after the torrential rain disaster in 2014). The participating families appreciated nature and tasty food in the City.
Of course we enjoyed the beautiful food too!
